DEFENCE SECERATARY

I think having read this article that I now feel sorry for Ainsworth as he has been handed the poisoned chalice.

NICE CUDDLY BEAR.

My friend in Alberta sent me these images today. At first they thought the bear was going to maul the dogs but it must have had a full belly and just wanted a wee cuddle. As we all do.

HORRIBLE POLITICIANS

Despite taking a step back from blogging, there are times when I become so angry with what I read and hear on the radio that the need to record it somewhere takes over me, so here goes.

MPs who in recent weeks have been subject to the utter revulsion and contempt of the proletariat, are without doubt unable to climb out of the self created bubble of greed and self interest. Instead it has been agreed by a small committee of MPs chaired by John Bercow, the new Speaker, and including Harriet Harman, the Labour Leader of the House and Alan Duncan, the Tory frontbencher, that they shall partake of yet more unaccountable pounds from our pockets.

What then was all the guff from Bercrow, when he was dragged to The Speakers chair, about honesty, openness, transparency, accountability, decency, respect, honour, etc etc etc? I thought at the time that he looked and sounded very much like an oleaginous wee turd and I was right. There has to be some kind of revolution in this UK, and Alex Salmond seems to me to be the only one ready willing and able to deliver it, we need to get out and quick.

The MOD trying to reduce payments to our maimed and injured service personnel, as if the payouts they get are not mean enough.

And the fact that we cannot even look after our pensioners better than Romania. The UK has the fourth-highest level of poverty among over 65s in Europe, behind countries like Romania, European Commission figures have shown.

We will soon be getting foreign aid from Bangladesh.

And now these disgusting liars and crooks are of for the longest Parliamentary holiday on record, laughing all the way to the bank whilst we suffer the consequences of their actions. Oh aye and they say they are working really hard whilst taking this break. WHY WOULD WE BELIEVE THEM.

RAF SAFETY

The callous indifference of Brown and his rotten cabinet is revolting. Listen to this radio 4 programme.

===================================================================

On 30 January 2005 a Hercules transporter plane crashed in Iraq after an inert object - possibly a single bullet - pierced a fuel tank, causing the wing to explode with the loss of all 10 people on board.

Yet three years earlier pilots and air crew had called for a relatively cheap foam safety device to be fitted to the planes, to stop fuel tanks exploding even if pierced by a bullet.

US versions of the aircraft have been fitted with the device since the Vietnam War in the late 1960s.

====================================================================

A fuel leak caused a Nimrod jet from RAF Kinloss in Moray to explode mid-air during operations in Afghanistan, killing all 14 personnel on board on 2 September 2006.

An inquest into the crash in 2008 found that the jet was not airworthy due to a fundamental design flaw - fuel couplings were in the same compartment as hot air piping.

The BBC has seen a restricted flight safety investigation report into an incident two years before that Nimrod crash, in which another Nimrod had a hot air leak - up to 400C - which was effectively boiling a fuel tank.

===================================================================

Listen to the interruption to this interview at 10minutes 50 seconds in, and the denial and stonewalling by Air Vice Marshall Stephen Hillier. This chinless twit then stated that "we are just banging on here," and after the press Officer interuption stone walled by refusing to answer question on flight 227. This is the most disgusting betrayal I have ever heard.

CRIMINAL

WHY DOES IT TAKE 12 MONTHS TO MOVE HELICOPTERS FROM IRAQ TO AFGHANISTAN?

Despite being asked this the answer given by this idiot was just insulting. It has taken 12 months because the treasury refused to pay for there deployment to Afghanistan. Faceless suits like this denying our forces the essential tools to do the job safer and then scurrying like cock roaches to hide when the lights go on.

The Chinooks that are there, 10, are more often than not in use to fly dignateries around such as visiting politicians and Afghan tribal leaders. What a betrayal, what a damn disgrace. This has now become nauseating to witness.

An exchange with the editorial team at the Herald following their disgraceful distortion today. They obviously think we are all daft

You managed to insert the ridiculous charge that the SNP snubbed the Diago management which is preposterous and untrue and straight out of the Labour Party armoury.

Can you furnish me with one instance of the SNP attacking anybody else on this issue or being involved in bickering?

All the bickering has come from the Labour Party and all the accusations.

It's an old political trick. Start up a fight by attacking your opposition then make sure the innocent target gets blamed as well as the attacker.

Perhaps you haven't noticed.

In what sense was the editorial a disgrace? Its point was to criticise all parties that engaged in point-scoring to the detriment of the campaign to save Diageo jobs. I don't think it could have been clearer on that point.

Your editorial today, which attempted to elevate to a serious matter a particularly crass episode of mischief from the desperate Labour Party, disgraces the Herald.

Exactly. You "managed to insert the ridiculous charge" into the editorial as I quite clearly stated. Do you imagine fanciful, ridiculous and offensive quotations which might be at home in the Daily Record are what any serious person would expect to see reported in a Herald editorial?

You also have not furnished me any evidence of the SNP being involved in initiating any bickering or attacking any other person or agency on this issue.

That has all been engineered by the Labour party. Yet you chose to apportion an equal share of the blame to the SNP.

You must think we are all daft.

We did not "insert the ridiculous charge that the SNP snubbed the Diageo management". The quote about snubbing scotland was attributed to John Quigley of the Unite trade union. At no point in our coverage does The Herald accuse Mr Salmond of snubbing Diageo. Perhaps you hadn't noticed.

Fascinating stuff. And who'd be the Pope having to negotiate his way around all this lot? And going back to last year's Labour conference, the sight of Mrs Brown getting onto the platform to speak up for her husband, it was the cheesiest cringiest eeriest thing ever. My wife's a potter. If at a meeting of the Northern Potters I'd got up to speak up for the quality of her stuff, she'd have been humiliated beyond words. She have responded by breaking every piece up into little pieces. How the Browns can be so thick beggars belief.

THE AUSSIE WAY.

The Australians got this right...

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

A day after a group of mainstream Muslim leaders pledged loyalty to Australia and her Queen at a special meeting with Prime Minister John Howard, he and his Ministers made it clear that extremists would face a crackdown.

Treasurer Peter Costello, seen as heir apparent to Howard, hinted that some radical clerics could be asked to leave the country if they did not accept that Australia was a secular state, and its laws were made by parliament.

"If those are not your values, if you want a country which has Sharia law or a theocratic state, then Australia is not for you," he said on national television.

"I'd be saying to clerics who are teaching that there are two laws governing people in Australia: one the Australian law and another the Islamic law, that is false. If you can't agree with parliamentary law, independent courts, democracy, and would prefer Sharia law and have the opportunity to go to another country, which practices it, perhaps, then, that's a better option," Costello said.

Asked whether he meant radical clerics would be forced to leave, he said those with dual citizenship could possibly be asked to move to the other country.

Education Minister Brendan Nelson later told reporters that Muslims who did not want to accept local values should "clear off. Basically, people who don't want to be Australians, and who don't want to live by Australian values and understand them, well then, they can basically clear off," he said.

Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques.

Quote: "IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT.

Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians."

"However, the dust from the attacks had barely settled when the 'politically correct' crowd began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was offending others. I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to Australia."

"However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand."

"This idea of Australia being a multicultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As Australians, we have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our own lifestyle."

"This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom"

"We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, Learn the language!"

"Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented.

It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture."

"We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us."

"If the Southern Cross offends you, or you don't like "A Fair Go", then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet.

We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how you did things where you came from. By all means, keep your culture, but do not force it on others.

"This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, 'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'."

"If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted."

Maybe if we circulate this amongst ourselves, English citizens will find the backbone to start speaking and voting the same truths!!

AM2 THE TALKING ARSEHOLE

In the past few days the spectre of AM2/ sm737/ rufus/ The Walrus was Paul, Tartan Bond, etc etc reared it’s ugly racist head on my blog. I also noticed whilst reading Tactical Voting that he smeared his excrement on there trying to promote his own anti Scottish blog. I responded in what I thought was a perfectly valid manner but the blog owner chose to delete it, as is his right.

So for my own satisfaction and nothing more I am going to respond to AM2 and all his many Scotsman monikers on here. Cutting and pasting his comments as I see fit.

AM2 first came to my attention around about March 2007 as I began to take an interest in political discussion on line prior to the SNPs magnificent victory on May 3rd of that year. It was his style and constant nagging on his then chosen theme that attracted my attention. Which was to try and smear the SNP and anyone associated with it with anti English sentiment, undertones of racism, the dark underside, being narrow minded, parochial etc etc we all know the script as it has been tried by many unionist bigots in the past.

His classic ghost story was posted on May 2nd, that if the SNP gained power we were going to see an immediate crash in the house prices in Scotland as people sold up and fled the country. The very opposite of what in fact happened.

It became very obvious to me and to others who responded to him that he was a planted unionist device with direct links to The Scotsman. And that he has the power to censor and delete monikers on their forum as any one who gets the better of him will be deleted. And there are many, myself included.

His madness since that time has intensified; as he has morphed into the many monikers he now uses to spread his venomous slime as far as he can. But his style is so unmistakable and arrogant in tone that he just cannot hide whatever moniker he uses. The one significant fact is that he is on these forums 24/7 and never ever stops, it has now taken over his entire existence. As I have said many times we should be grateful as it keeps the mad bastard of the streets.

Here was his first appearance on the comments section of my blog, as someone has cloned one of his blogs and it is really upsetting him. It just proves to me what I have known for some time that he spends all his time running round these blogs and forums like a demented rat on speed. What a fucking horrible life he must have. And what a fucking horrible person he must be.

AM2 the fact that someone fakes you and does so very well is proof to me what an arse hole you are. Your blog and your bigotry you pour out day and night on The Scotsman forum is what creates that impression.

You leave a trail like a snail no matter which one of your many many monikers you use. To maintain the presence you do on there smacks of obsessive behaviour that is way beyond the boundaries of normal. It spells out to me your hatred of Scots and in particular those of us who call for independence.

Your DNA can be traced directly to the Scotsman itself and I do believe you are connected to the Britnat machinery of state. I utterly despise you for your views which can be compared to fascist ideology.

Your failed attempts at connecting the SNP to extremism is pathetic. You slandered Niall Alsen and then when challenged with drew your slander. He has more credibility in his pinky than you have in your horrible body, as he has blown holes in the unionist propaganda machine.

You confessed to cloning another mans identity, to try and cover up your identity as Andrew Moulder. And you flatter your self if you think anyone would waste energy coming round to knock on your door and shoving your words down your racist throat.

Like I said you are an arsehole of the highest order.

JOKE

There is much I could say with the sad news from Afghanistan and the reports about the hapless Ainsworth is the press. So with my blood pressure in order I will just post this joke:

Fishy Tale

A woman goes into Harrods to buy a rod and reel for her grandson's birthday.
She doesn't know which one to get, so she just grabs one and goes over to the counter.
The Harrods salesman is standing there, wearing dark shades.
She says, "Excuse me, can you tell me anything about this rod and reel?"
He says, "Madam, I'm completely blind; but, if you'll drop it on the counter, I can tell you everything you need to know about it from the sound it makes."
She doesn't believe him but drops it on the counter anyway.
He says, "That's a six-foot Shakespeare graphite rod with a Zebco 404 reel and 10-lb.test line. It's a good all around combination, and it's on sale this week for £44.00 ."
She says, "It's amazing that you can tell all that just by the sound of It dropping on the counter. I'll take it!" As she opens her purse, her credit card drops on the floor.
"Oh, that sounds like a Visa card," he says.
As the lady bends down to pick up the card, she accidentally farts.
At first, she is really embarrassed but then realizes there is no way the blind salesman could tell it was she who had farted.
The man rings up the sale and says, "That'll be 58 pounds and 50 pence please."
The woman is totally confused by this and asks, "Didn't you tell me it was on sale for £44.00 ? How did you get it to £58.50 ?"
He replies, "Yes Madam, the rod and reel is £44.00, but the Duck Caller is £11.00 and the Fish Bait is £3.50 !!"

THE WORST HAS YET TO COME, THIS IS THE END GAME.

Below is a copy of a news sheet I subscribe to, his predictions for the past 10 years have been 100% correct. And have been a great help to me in the decisions I have made on my small but effective self managed portfolio, I have not only maintained it but grown it as well thanks to this man.

The news that we should pay attention to is that we are not anywhere near the bottom of this recession. Talk of green shoots are just that.

The recent news from Diageo and BVT regarding the remains of our ship building is just a fraction of what we are about to endure. The political point scoring by that dribbling idiot Des Brown on the Kilmarnock plant of Johhny Walker is breathtaking, and shows the level this debate is at in the UK government. This is all about New Labours survival, any straw must be grasped now to try and discredit the SNP. New Labour never have and never will give a toss regarding Scottish unemployment or health. What they care passionately about is New Labour and the survival of their gravy train. They still do not get it.

There is now no shadow of doubt in my mind. Scotland is about to be dealt several death blows in rapid succesion in order to teach us a lesson we will never forget. We must therefore ensure the prosperity of our country. I would much rather be poor in an independent Scotland than poor in the UK where we are at the end of the line and regarded as sponging whingers by this racist bigoted union.

The only hope left now for Scotland is to break free of the UK as soon as possible. The SNP must push forward their agenda and get this bloody referendum done and dusted, the Scottish people want it.

California’s fiscal disaster is about to create massive volatility in the stock and bond markets — and very substantial profit opportunities for you ...

Especially if you have the right tools for TIMING your investment decisions for maximum profit potential with reduced risk.

In our history-making online briefing, we reveal the missing piece of the market timing puzzle that could help you turn this crisis into money in the bank; and the video is now available for your immediate download.

“As California goes, so goes America.

California has a GDP of $1.8 trillion, larger than the economies of Russia, Brazil, Canada and India.

It’s America’s most populous state with 38 million people.

And it’s in the final throes of financial death — bankruptcy. In Governor Schwarzenegger’s own words, “Our wallet is empty. Our bank is closed. And our credit is dried up.”

Yesterday, the Golden State had no choice but to begin paying its bills with i.o.u.’s.

And now, Moody’s and S&P are watching from the sidelines, poised to downgrade the state’s bonds by several notches to junk status in one fell swoop — a move that’s going to crush the tax-exempt bond market and could send stocks off the proverbial cliff.

We have done everything in our power to warn you that this shoe was about to drop — and the national media is taking notice. I think you should too.

My main point to Fortune: California is facing a $24 billion budget gap with no obvious way to close it. The state has appealed to Washington for a federal bailout, but it has gotten the cold shoulder from the Obama administration. Next, expect draconian cuts that will merely deepen California’s depression and cause a rash of ratings downgrades.

Now, this morning, The New York Times has also picked up my warnings under the headline “California I.O.U.’s Add to Bondholers’ Worries.” My key comment: If the state can stiff its commercial creditors with i.o.u.’s, what’s to prevent it from stiffing bond investors in the future?

Massive volatility ahead!

The sad fact is, California could be just the first domino to fall in an avalanche of downgrades and defaults among cities, counties and states from coast to coast.

The likely consequences: Chaos in the bond markets ... wild swings in stocks ... and very substantial profit opportunities for investors who have a good handle on TIMING these swings — when to buy and when to sell to maximize their profits while reducing their risk of loss.

Good luck and God bless!
