I 'joined' the Scottish Nationalists at Aberdeen Uni. I managed to defeat their arguments with something you said to me one time in Mack's class:

"Apart from the obvious connotations of national pride that would come with Scotland being seperated from the rest of the UK, what would be the fundamental differences in Scotland as an independant ... See morenation?"

The best thing they can come up with is some muttering about oil, but no solid arguments. I think you asked an SNP MSP that and he dodged it or something?

Anthony James Current proposed question in Salmonds doomed vanity/referendum project

"The parliament's powers should also be extended to enable independence to be achieved." So this is the SNPs proposal for the question regarding independence.

Word based trickery if ever i read any-it makes no allusion to the fact that a yes vote WOUL...D mean independence-this statement is clearly phrased to give the impression that independence would become a potential POWER that the parliament could excercise.

This would catch out people who are pro union but pro more power for Scotland.

Its a fix!
